Pin Exhibit and Exchange Social Event
We invite you to apply for Hot One Inch Action, a tiny exhibit and big art event. Chicago artists are invited to submit artwork to be reproduced on a 1” pin. Artists receive 20 pins of their artwork
For one-night only buy and trade the tiny art of fifty different local artists reproduced on one inch buttons. These limited edition buttons are displayed on the café wall and the audience is offered the opportunity to buy randomly selected buttons in mixed bags of five for $5. Didn’t get the button you want? Trade with the people around you…how bad do you want that button?! That’s when the hot action starts.

Please submit your 1080 x 1080 ppi jpg cmyk artwork
Submit your artwork and artist statement by Monday May 20th, 12pm CTD
Download the template to make sure the primary object of your work fits within the visible area

Artists and visitors come together for the opening, pay $5 for a bag of 5 buttons and then mix and mingle with each other, trading buttons and building sets. One Hot Inch collectors event will take place on June 22 from 7 - 9 pm at necessary & sufficient coffee – Printers Row.
Buttons will be up for 3 weeks with an opening event.
