Come experience an authentic Italian Cena—a traditional multi-course dinner prepared by Chef Maurizio Malfeo, a Printers Row resident and Salerno-born chef whose culinary roots trace directly to the Amalfi Coast itself.
This intimate evening brings the flavors of coastal Italy to Chicago for one night only. From bright lemon and fresh herbs to Mediterranean sea bass and rich Torta Caprese, every course tells the story of Southern Italy’s slow-table tradition.

Antipasti – Assorted Crostini with Zucchini Scapece, Melanzane a Funghetti, and Pepperoni Rostiti
Primo – Gnocchi Sorrentina with Fresh Mozzarella, San Marzano Tomato Sauce & Basil
Secondo – Branzino Acqua Pazza (Mediterranean Sea Bass in Lemon White Wine Sauce)
Contorni – Polenta & Minted French Green Beans
Dolce – Torta Caprese with Chantilly Cream & Amarena Cherries
Gluten-free accommodations available upon request (substitute for gnocchi only).

About the Chef
Born near Salerno, Italy — the heart of the Amalfi Coast — Chef Maurizio Malfeo has called Printers Row home for over 30 years. A graduate with honors from the Cooking and Hospitality Institute of Chicago (1999) and an alum of an elite study-abroad program in Chioggia, he brings a lifetime of Italian culinary craftsmanship to Chicago. Since 2005, Chef Maurizio has led exclusive escorted tours of the Amalfi Coast, introducing guests to its UNESCO-recognized culture, landscapes, and cuisine.
Now, he’s bringing that same authentic warmth and artistry home — to Printers Row.
